S40

Started riding recumbents when my wife and I got a pair of Catrikes. I started racing my trike even though that was not my intention when we bought them. a few years later we met the Parkers at a Recumbent Cycle Convention in Chicago. We ended up getting a Softrider again with the intention to just ride it, but I ended up racing it the next year. We were then given an old Vendetta and a Silvio to race by a friend. Later we bought another Vendetta and a V20 and gave the other two bikes back to our friend. Later on we also picked up an S40 for my wife. Over the years we have also picked up a Catrike Speed and a Catrike Musashi. We have since sold those. I also have a Velokraft Nocom carbon fiber lowracer. Each bike has its purpose with some crossover. I race the Vendetta my Catrike 700 and the Nocom, depending on the type of event. My wife uses the V20 when she races. For commuting I typically use the Vendetta but have used the 700 Nocom S40 and V20 for my 8 mile rural roads commute for various reasons. For group rides I generally use my Vendetta or the Nocom but depending on the situation have used the 700 as well. My wife generally uses the S40 for group or general road riding. When camping the 700 and the S40 generally fit the bill. Love riding and racing these bikes. Have done non racing events like the Dam to Dam ride in northern Indiana and the Rain ride on the Vendetta. Have raced for years in the HPRA race series and Have traveled to Florida for the Bike Sebring race once.
