I remember in the 80's on the hpv records at battle mountain and remained in the back of mind until i saw my first recumbent sometime in 2018. I researched the best recumbent and found cruzbike. I built a copy(3 variations actual, the last one with variable geometry) and when i could afford it, i bought a cobalt blue v20 off Legend Larry. I regularly ride a tradition bike and the v20 regularly. About 10k km per year. I've never shyd away from mountain roads, i hate gravel thou. Climbing on the v20 can be a challenge but spending time doing hill repeats and weight training goes along way unlock some speed. I do love zipping along 40kph on just 140w. I have 3d printed numerous items that lose weight and increase ergonomics. A cruzbike is like a bike but faster, more comfortable, different but the same but you will have to be ready to answer people always asking questions everytime you stop. Never been videoed on a road bike but many times on the v20
