Started riding a QX100 several years ago. Just purchased a Q45 a few months ago. I was drawn to some sort of alternative bike because of pain. I had looked at other recumbents and at trikes but didn't like any of them. I saw a guy from my neighborhood riding a Cruzbike and stopped him and asked about it. I liked the things he said and I like the design. I can tell you that everything that Cruzbike says about pain relief is absolutely true. No wrist pain, Back pain, shoulder or neck pain or seat pain. I am 77 and am riding more and further than before I had the Cruzbike. I find climbing to be more of a challenge. Gentle slopes are no problem; slightly steeper are no problem if I see them coming, plan my gearing ahead and keep my cadence up. Steep slopes with no room for a headstart are more of a problem as one cannot stand on the pedals on a Cruzbike. There is a steep switchback on a trail we like to ride that I simply can't negotiate with my QX100. I am hoping the Q45 will solve that problem. Time will tell...
